The ACFID Code of Conduct is a voluntary, self-regulatory code of good practice. The comparison table on this page maps the ACFID Code of Conduct to the ACNC External Conduct Standards.

The External Conduct Standards apply to all registered charities, including Basic Religious Charities, when they are operating outside Australia, or working with a third party operating outside Australia.

Charities must be satisfied that their Responsible People are not disqualified from managing a corporation, nor disqualified by the ACNC from being a Responsible Person.
