To apply to register your organisation as a charity, you need to log in to the ACNC Charity Portal and complete the application.
If you have never logged in to the Charity Portal, the first thing you will need to do is create an account. You can follow our Charity Portal instructions if you need help.
If you have previously logged in to the Charity Portal, you can use this account to sign in and register a new charity. Your Charity Portal account is linked to your own name and email, rather than to a charity as a whole.
Once you have logged in, click on 'Apply to register a new charity'.

Note: the ACNC does not charge a fee for organisations to register as a charity.
