A new agreement that reduces the administrative burden on registered charities has been signed by NSW Fair Trading and the ACNC.

In August 2018, the ACNC registered 208 new charities. The majority of newly registered charities are based in the eastern states, with 63 per cent of new charities located in Victoria and New South Wales.
