Signing in to the ACNC Charity Portal

Start from the ACNC home page. Click on the ‘Charity Portal log in’ button, located at the top right-hand side of the screen. Enter the email address you signed up with and your password, then click on the ‘Sign in’ button.

A 6-digit verification code will now be sent to your email. Please check your inbox, and your spam folder. It may take a few minutes to arrive.

Copy the code and paste it in the verification code field, then click ‘Verify code’. You can request a new code if you need. Once you are signed in, click on your charity’s name under the heading 'My charities'.

If you are signing in to complete your Annual Information Statement, click on ‘Manage reporting’, then click the icon for the year you want to report for. After you start your Annual Information Statement, you can save it at any time and resume it later.

You may also see icons for past Annual Information Statements with the option to amend them. Only click ‘Amend’ if you have made a mistake or need to make a change to an Annual Information Statement that you have already submitted.

There are also icons in the Charity Portal to ‘Manage people’ – this is where you can add or remove Responsible or Authorised People, and to ‘Manage other charity details’ – this is where you can make other updates, such as changing your Address For Service, and updating your governing document or legal name.
