Ms Kind says effective data management is crucial in maintaining public trust in individual charities and the sector. ‘Even the most well-resourced entities are not immune to cyber-attacks,’ she says.
Ms Woodward says charities need to be proactive. 'Charities must store information securely,' she says. ‘Everyone should be aware of best practices for handling data.'
