It’s time for charities with reporting due dates between 31 December 2018 and 28 February 2019 to submit their 2018 Annual Information Statement.
The ACNC Commissioner, the Hon Dr Gary Johns previously granted an extension to these charities, extending their due date to 31 March 2019.
Over 12,000 charities have already submitted their 2018 Annual Information Statement. If you have not submitted your 2018 Annual Information Statement yet, we encourage you to do so as soon as possible.
Charities are required to complete an Annual Information Statement each year to maintain their registration with the ACNC.
Annual Information Statements must be submitted within six months after the end of the charity’s financial year. Charities that fail to do this risk financial penalties and ultimately loss of their charity status.
Charities must login to the new and improved ACNC Charity Portal to submit their 2018 Annual Information Statement.
