The tables available at the links below will help you understand how you can use the National Standard Chart of Accounts (NSCOA) to provide the financial information in the Annual Information Statements.

Mapping the Annual Information Statement financial information section to the NSCOA is intended to make reporting easier for charities.

While it is not compulsory to use the NSCOA, the advantage of doing so is that all levels of government in Australia (Commonwealth, state, territory and local) have adopted NSCOA as a nationally consistent approach for requesting financial information from not-for-profit organisations.
