The 2023 Bulk Annual Information Statement is to be used if you need to submit Annual Information Statements for multiple charities at once.
An example might be if you are a corporate trustee administering multiple trusts, or an administration office for multiple religious charities.
To apply for bulk lodgement, send a request to reporting@acnc.gov.au.
Changes to the 2023 Bulk Annual Information Statement
There have been several important changes to the 2023 Bulk Annual Information Statement.
Related party transactions
Charities are required to answer whether they had any reportable related party transactions in the 2023 reporting period. If so, select all the relevant types of transactions that they had with related parties.
It is optional for Basic Religious Charities.
The new questions are from Column H to R under the 'Finance' worksheet.
Transitional reporting question
From the 2023 Annual Information Statement, this question only applies to co-operatives.
Submitting a Bulk Annual Information Statement
Please ensure that you follow the instructions in the Bulk Annual Information Statement form, including the comments in the column headings.
It is important to note that when completing the Program Classifications (Column G under the Charity Programs tab in the 2023 Bulk Annual Information Statement), you must choose from the set classifications available in the Annual Information Statement Program Previewer.
Use the Program Previewer to view all available program classifications. Choose a classification that most appropriately describes a charity's program.
Send the completed Bulk Annual Information Statement to reporting@acnc.gov.au.
Upload your charities’ financial reports (if required) via the file transfer protocol (FTP) process if you have been issued access (note that the file name of each charity's financial report must start with the charity's ABN).
If you did not receive an email to access the FTP process, please send the financial reports to reporting@acnc.gov.au.

Amending a Bulk Annual Information Statement
If you identify a material error in the Bulk Annual Information Statement you have submitted, you need to amend the submission.
For Bulk Annual Information Statement submissions for:
- up to 10 charities – email reporting@acnc.gov.au with the ABN(s) and we will provide the instructions to amend via the Charity Portal
- more than 10 charities – email reporting@acnc.gov.au with the amended Form 4C.
Updating an individual charity's details
Log in to the ACNC Charity Portal to update the details of an individual charity.
To update the details of Responsible People for 10 or more charities at once, use Form 3A: Change of Responsible Person (bulk lodgement). Send the completed form to advice@acnc.gov.au.
